More than 1.8 million American service members have been awarded the Purple Heart, either having been wounded or killed-in-action. These brave heroes are deserving of our deepest thanks and gratitude.

As we celebrate the National Purple Heart Day, the National Purple Heart Honor Mission is proud to replay our "Concert for America's Heroes” at 11am on Friday, August 7. This special tribute concert was the capstone event for our 2026 Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission, which brought together combat-wounded veterans from across the nation for a multi-day salute to service.

This patriotic pops concert, performed by the MidAtlantic Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Jason Tramm, honored our nation and those who have sacrificed across the generations for our freedom.
