HELP US HONOR OUR NATION’S GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM HEROES! Nominate a living Purple Heart recipient who served during the Global War on Terrorism for the 2027 Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission by completing the form below. Be sure to include two to three paragraphs (150 - 350 words) detailing the nominee’s story of service and their post-service life (career, volunteer work, family life, civic organization engagement, awards/citations, etc.). Nominations will be accepted through Friday, December 11.* A panel of Purple Heart recipients and other distinguished Americans will review the honorees from each state and select the members of 2027 Global War on Terrorism Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission. Honorees will be announced on President’s Day - Monday, February 15, 2027. The 2027 Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission is scheduled for September 2027.
