KATV ABC 7: Alma native John Parette to represent Arkansas in 2026 National Purple Heart tribute

Alma native John Parette will be representing Arkansas in the 2026 Purple Heart Project during a multi-day tribute in New York scheduled for April 27, 2026.

The program, under the National Purple Heart Honor Mission, is a yearly gathering where individuals who have received the Purple Heart award assemble and partake in the three-day affair from April 27 - May 1.
